Brand new for autumn we are very excited to introduce the Wurzel family of Scarecrows to you.  Parents Napus and Cascara Wurzel are full of character as depicted in their photos below. Children Compo and Tumshie complete the family group.  For all the details of how to buy your very own member of the wurzel family please click here.

Autumn feels like it has very much arrived and now is a good time to begin feeding the birds extra food, so they can build up their reserves for the winter.

These Peanut Cakes are very high calorie food and are a phenomenal success with garden birds. Formulated from animal and vegetable fats and bound with peanut flour they are irresistible to a wide range of species including tits, finches,Treecreepers, Goldcrests and Robins and we also have a variety specifically devoted to the declining Starling.

The cakes can be fed either from one of these attractive Peanut Cake Hangers a pole-mounted feeder, or chopped up on a Square Ground Bird Table.

They can also be chopped into small pieces (1cm cubes) and scattered around the edge of your feeding area to give smaller and more timid species (such as Dunnocks, Wrens and Blackbirds) a chance to enjoy them.
